Bible Translation Project

Welcome to my translation project. This is my personal journey through the Scriptures, working chapter by chapter through the Torah, Proverbs, Matthew, and James. This is a space where I share the ongoing translation project that I started in 2026. My approach is a strict, word-for-word literal translation. I prioritize staying as close to the Hebrew and Greek grammar as possible, choosing modern English words only when necessary to ensure the text remains clear and readable without losing its original precision. While I am not a formal scholar, I am a dedicated researcher. I love compiling manuscripts and have thoroughly vetted existing Bible versions for this project. I use the JPS 1917 as my main text for the Hebrew Scriptures, while carefully comparing other translations to guide my specific word choices. Eventually, the completed project will be made available as both a PDF download and a physical print book.
